minetest-server software package provides Multiplayer infinite-world block sandbox (server), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install minetest-server
minetest-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the minetest-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep minetest-server *
You will get with minetest-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
